Rebecca started working for the Spectrum Advantage team as an Autism Employment Specialist in August 2017. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, where she developed a passion for advocacy and mental health. Building on this foundation, she now works as the Education and Client Services Manager, leading curriculum development and teaching young autistic professionals the nuances of obtaining and maintaining long-term employment. She also works directly with employers, providing training on the value of neuro-inclusive hiring and supporting them in creating environments where neurodivergent employees can thrive.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys playing volleyball, hiking in Kananaskis, and anything and everything related to food and music!
