Autism Calgary is pleased to offer an updated Disability Information Card to our members!
These cards are designed for autistic individuals of all ages, to help communicate disability-related needs during emergencies or other stressful situations. They include only essential information, the front includes the individual’s name and emergency contact information, while the back provides personalized support tips. They are especially helpful for nonverbal individuals or those who have difficulty communicating. They can also support individuals who are highmasking or whose autistic traits present atypically, helping communicate support needs that may otherwise be overlooked or misunderstood.

May not respond to name
May become dysregulated with loud noise

May not communicate verbally
May run/elope
Disability Information Cards are available to Autism Calgary members at no cost. Donations of up to $15 are appreciated to help cover associated costs and support the continuation of the program.
