Thank you for your interest in Autism Calgary’s Presentations. Since part of our mission is to educate, as well as increase awareness and understanding of Autism, we are thrilled that you’re interested in accessing our unique program. As the prevalence of Autism increases, promoting diversity and inclusion is more important than ever.
Our Introduction to Autism presentation focuses on the following main themes:
- What is Autism
- How Autism can affect individuals
- Basic strategies and accommodations to help
- How to promote inclusivity
Autism Calgary offers the Presentations Program to Schools, Community Groups and Organizations on a paid basis to offset the costs associated with running the program. A fee of $150 – $250 will ensure we can continue our efforts to educate the community about Autism. However, should the fee present a hardship, please don’t hesitate to let us know, and we will work with your organization to ensure finances aren’t a barrier.
