Garett supports autistic adults in identifying their needs and accessing relevant resources in the community for employment, housing, counselling/mental health support, and financial assistance. Garett strives to provide clients with the most relevant, up to date, and impactful resources for their situation to make a positive and lasting impact on their lives. He also provides Talk Support which is a safe and empathetic one on one space for autistic adults to connect, unload, and find follow up resources. Sessions typically last for an hour and are mainly led by the individual guiding the conversation about things they would like to talk about, assistance they may require, or just as a supportive and validating conversation.
Garett has been with Autism Calgary since October of 2025. He is neurodivergent and has a diploma in Social Work from Mount Royal University. He is very passionate about helping other neurodivergent individuals access the resources that they need to survive and to live an empowering life.
