Autism Calgary Events

Listen to parents share their experience with Public and Private Schools, Special Programs and other education options for kids on the Autism Spectrum, with diverse levels of support needs, all at our annual School Parent Panel event!

Typically in early spring. One hour is dedicated to children with a high level of support needs, and our second is dedicated to children with low support needs.

Our Holiday Party’s offer a special visit with Mr. Claus himself, in a relaxed more sensory friendly environment! There are professional photographers, & after enjoying the light activities, you’ll leave with your groups pictures.

In 2025 we started our new Santa Social for Autistic Adults. An opportunity for your adult family and friends to enjoy a festive kid-free gathering & visit with Santa!

Autism Calgary invites our members families and individuals on the autism spectrum to enjoy our Summer Pool Party!

Rain or shine, bring your swimming gear and come enjoy some fun! We book the pool exclusively for our event and will not be open to the public. There’s plenty of green space within the fenced pool area with lounging chairs & picnic tables available!

Summer 2026 there are 2 outdoor pool parties, July 25th & August 15th

Our Community Picnics give an opportunity for our community members and connect with other Autism Calgary community members. A simple & fun picnic at the park, which includes drink, snacks and maybe even some marshmallows over a fire!

Our 2026 Community Picnic will be at the amazing rotary challenger park on July 7th.

Back at William Watson Lodge for 2026. 10 lucky families join us for family camping in an accepting environment with other Autism Calgary Community Members who care for a family member with ASD.
