Tom’s Epic Journey Begins!
On Wednesday June 17, 2015 at 9:00am Tom Young started his epic cycling journey from Calgary, Alberta to Langley, British Columbia to raise awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Tom is the father of Dylan, an amazing 22 year old man who is severely impacted by Autism. Both Tom and Dylan have been residents of Fort McMurray since 1995. Today Dylan lives in a community group home setting.
Tom is fulfilling a dream to take on this ambitious journey in the spirit raising awareness of Autism. His cycling journey across the Rocky Mountains will span more than 1000 kilometers. His “Epic Journey” is sure to inspire people on route to learn more about Autism and how it has an impact from childhood through to adulthood.
