Two mothers Becky A. and Laura L. will give us a detailed presentation on the benefits they obtained from the ancestry-related genetic reports and uninterpreted raw genetic data provided by the 23andMe genotype test.
Becky will explain some of the terminology involved, details on ordering and most importantly what was the benefit of doing such, and how she went about interpreting the raw data provided by the test to support the health of their loved ones. Laura will share her experience analyzing and using the information provided by 23andMe.
Becky and Laura are two very motivated mothers who do extensive research. We appreciate their time not only because of their willingness to share but because the great quality of the information they deliver. We believe this meeting can provide helpful facts for guiding interventions for ASD or further health concerns, please come and invite others.
Please note: Neither of the presenters nor Autism Calgary benefit from or have any association with the sales of 23andMe. It was simply the test the 2 families chose to seek genetic information.
Thursday, May 29th from 7pm-9pm at the Autism Calgary Office.
