iPads and Autism

The Community Education Service is pleased to present the following session taking place on Wednesday November 6, 2013

iPads and Autism

This presentation will discuss some of the benefits and challenges of using iPads with individuals on the Autism spectrum. Participants will learn about some communication and self-regulation apps that may be appropriate for individuals with Autism, some iPad accessories and built-in features to support their use, as well as tips for transitioning from paper-based communication systems to speech-generating devices such as iPads.
