A collaborative project between Children’s Link Society, McMan Youth, Family and Community Services presents A “Crash Course” Workshop for Parents/Guardians of Youth with Special Needs.
Come and learn the following:
• Life Planning and Visioning
• Adult Services
• Post-Secondary Education and Opportunities
• Adult Services Forms and Applications
• Gain information about the funding bodies PDD (Persons with Developmental Disabilities) and AISH (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped)
•OPG – Office of the Public Guardian (guardianship/trusteeship)
The upcoming workshop are on the following dates:
1) October 17th, 2012 from 5:30am to 9:00pm
2) December 1st, 2012 9:30pm to 2:30pm
