 Autism Calgary aims to bring the Autism community together in as many ways as possible throughout the year. We offer support to Autistic individuals, their families and the community, check out some ways we help below!

Family Support

Our Family Support Team is available to help with disability related questions. We offer peer support, provide resources, information & help with navigating the various systems of support such as, education, healthcare, government funding and more.

Resources

We have information and resources you can access through our website with information for children, adults, and Indigenous individuals. We also offer a resource directory to help you find what you are looking for.

Adult Support

Our Adult Resource Specialist helps Autistic adults find resources & supports in Calgary. We offer information about employment, housing, resource navigation and more. We also offer ‘Talk Support’ a free 1:1 peer support talk sessions (not clinical counselling).

Presentations

We offer presentations for the community, schools, organizations and more, from a peer perspective.

We offer free Peer Support Groups in-person and virtually for caregivers, Autistic adults, fathers and more.

Counselling

Our Registered Psychologist offers in-person and virtual counselling for Autistic adults, teens, children (ages 13+), and their families who are residents of Alberta.

Autism Calgary Library

Autism Calgary members are able to sign our  books, DVDs, and other resources for free. Just make sure you’re registered as an Autism Calgary Member first!

Community Events

Autism Calgary hosts family and activities throughout the year to get the Autism Calgary Members together in a meaningful and inclusive way.

Disability ID Cards

Autism Calgary offers Disability Information Card’s to our members. These cards are for autistic individuals or their supportive caregivers to carry.

Employment Program

 Spectrum Advantage is a community-based project of Autism Calgary that was designed to educate, assist and support individuals (18-30) living on the autism spectrum to find employment.
