While the amalgamation became official at the end of May, we kept it under wraps until we could rebrand and bring our new Board of Directors together to map out our strategic plan.
- See the potential in people living with autism.
- See and understand behaviour as a form of communication.
- See and respect the person as an individual first.
- See the opportunity to work together to make a difference.
This announcement features a heart-warming Public Service Announcement that will run across multi-media platforms including national television, our website and social media.
- Autism Junction – Canada’s Online Autism Service Directory;
- ASD Central – Canada’s Forum for Adults on the Spectrum to share, ask questions and get advice;
- National Event Calendar – Listing conferences, training workshops and symposiums happening from coast to coast;
- Online Screening Tools – for all ages;
- Video Library – over 70 presentations covering a broad range of topics.
Autism Canada will continue to provide our Family Support and Resource Program and our annual Conference with live webcast. Reaching every Canadian living and touched by autism continues to be a top priority for the new Autism Canada.
