iPadsForAutismThe digital age has provided parents, educators, and paraprofessionals with more tools to support learners than ever before. This session will run through the basics of setting up iPads in group settings as well as the home and provide attendees with insights into applications (Apps) that can be used to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Examples of how iPads are being used in classrooms, homes, and treatment centers will be used to illustrate how this valuable tool can be added to your repertoire. Applications to address communication, executive functioning, social skills, self-regulation and academic performance will be highlighted.
